Corporate SA battle it out at KNP Golf Day

More than 150 golfers from corporations all over South Africa met in Skukuza on Thursday, July 27, to battle it out on the fairways of the Skukuza Golf Course for top honours at the second annual Kruger National Park (KNP) Corporate Golf Day. “Golfers from all over South Africa are encouraged to make use of this facility which is certainly open to members of the public,” said the Kruger’s executive director Dr Bandile Mkhize, “and to spread a bit of goodwill between the Park and corporate South Africa, we have decided to make this Golf Day an annual event.”
The top three teams were as follows: First place: Frank Gunn
(Union Motors Nelspruit), Petra Swart (KPMG), Peter Motselele
(Forever Resorts), Johan Malan (Sanparks); second place: Colin
Blunden (Nedbank), Phil Eager (Imperial Toyota), Billy Kruger
(Imperial Honda), Sean Bacon (Imperial Toyota); and third place:
Arthur Davidson (Sanparks), Wouter Oosthuizen (Old Mutual), Willem
Montgomery (Old Mutual). The KNP Corporate Golf Day is sponsored by

Skukuza Golf Club was originally built in 1972 as a recreational facility and was opened to the public in 1999. It is a nine-hole (18 tee) par 72 course situated just to the west of Skukuza and is conveniently located near Kruger Gate in the southern area of the Kruger National Park
