Greater Kruger lodge voted best in world
Singita Private Game Reserve in the Sabi- Sand Wildtuin has won no less than three awards in the prestigious Travel + Leisure magazine’s ‘World’s Best’ awards.
The lodge was voted as the world’s best hotel, the best small hotel and the best hotel in Africa and the Middle East. Luke Bailes, CEO of the Singita Group said, “It has been hugely rewarding for us as a South African owned property with a team of South African staff to receive international recognition for our efforts.” The lodge has continually won prizes since its opening in 1993. It was first voted as the best lodge in the world by Travel + Leisure in 2004. It is also one of a select few lodges to be certified as a Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa establishment for its incorporation of social and environmental values into its tourism product. Not one to rest on their laurels, the Singita Group is currently refurbishing its award-winning Boulders and Ebony Lodges.
